The Mirage is our pick for the best value in Las Vegas hotels. The rooms are a little old (polyester bedspreads, etc.), but the casino has been renovated and is one of our favorites in Vegas. Bellagio still offers the best service in Vegas. Some have nicer rooms (Venetian, Wynn), some are a better value (Mirage, Paris), some have bigger or better casinos (MGM, Wynn), but none offer a top-notch experience across the board. If you are looking for the best restaurant selection in Las Vegas, go to Bellagio. The casino is one of the top-5 in Las Vegas, our only critiques are that the stakes are too high and there are too many continuous shuffle machines for blackjack.
